About NISSAN Radiators Spare Parts
Your Nissan's engine radiator essentially cools down the coolant that has received heat from the engine, thus preventing the engine and your entire vehicle from overheating. Continuing to operate your Nissan with a faulty radiator puts your engine in danger, so it's recommended that you swap out one that's already giving you problems, or perhaps replace an old unit to reduce the chance of getting caught with a broken-down Nissan.
The radiator passes the heated coolant from the engine through metal fins that in turn release heat to the outside air. In some engines, a fan comes fitted to speed up this cooling process. Common radiator troubles stem from physical damage to the radiator, although this might also be caused by coolant-related issues such as using expired coolant or low coolant levels. Damage can then arise at any of the four components: the core, pressure cap, outlet and inlet tanks, or transmission cooler, requiring either a change of individual parts, or the whole radiator itself.
As preventative measures, drain, flush and refill the cooling system with coolant from time to time to maintain the health of your radiator and engine. However, if you have determined that a replacement radiator is what you need for your Nissan, take a look at our large selection.
