About MITSUBISHI MINICAB Engine & Components Spare Parts
The heart of your Mitsubishi Minicab, its engine, powers the vehicle by generating force to turn the wheels through the conversion of fuel into heat. It consists of several different parts that can be replaced if needed, although these might vary according to the type of engine. For example, the single overhead camshaft (SOHC) engine is comprised of valves, valve springs, tappets, pistons, cylinder head and block, and spark plugs, while the double overhead camshaft (DOHC) engine has valves, intake and exhaust camshafts, rocker arms, lifters, pistons, cylinder head and block, and spark plugs. Issues might occur with any of these parts.
Fourth-generation Minicabs include several possible engines - Mitsubishi's G23B 546cc inline-two cylinder, 3G81 548cc inline-three cylinder, 3G83 657cc inline-three cylinder and CB20 993cc inline-three cylinder (in Indonesia). Three new 660cc engines are introduced for the fifth-generation Minicabs released in 1991 - a four-valve SOHC unit, a five-valve DOHC unit and a two-valve SOHC unit. The seventh-generation Minicab, which launched in 2014, is a rebadged 11th-generation Suzuki Carry, and comes powered by the Suzuki R 658cc R06A inline three-cylinder engine for 54 hp.
