About HONDA ACTY Engine & Components Spare Parts
From its initial release in 1977, up until 1988, the first generation of Actys comes powered with a 545cc EH water-cooled SOHC two-cylinder engine that makes 28 hp. This engine is a midship designed off of one bank of cylinders in the horizontally opposed-four engine used in the Honda Gold Wing. Following this maiden generation, the second generation of Actys launched in March 1988, get an upgrade to a Honda E05 547cc three-cylinder SOHC engine that makes 34 hp. This engine is once again upgraded in 1990 to a larger 656cc Honda E07A, with fuel-injection added in 1996 for 37 hp. Third-generation Actys beginning in 1999 receive Honda's E07Z 656cc SOHC inline three-cylinder 45 hp engine boasting an LEV design, high fuel efficiency, and low levels of emission, although that engine gets swapped out later for an upgraded 660cc 12-valve inline three-cylinder E07Z gasoline engine that makes 53 hp. The current fourth generation of Actys, introduced in 2009, continue to utilize this E07Z engine, but with an increase to 44 hp.
