About Cylinder Heads
The cylinder head sits above the cylinders on top of the cylinder block. It closes the top of the cylinder, forming the combustion chamber in a combustion engine.
The cylinder head ensures proper air and oil intake. To check it, first dissemble the cylinder head. If the oil and fuel cap have a build-up of dirt, it is recommended that it be removed and cleaned to facilitate proper combustion. Use the proper materials, such as a blasting machine, to clean the caps. The cylinder head passages should be unclogged using compressed air and a spray washer. Finally, inspect for any defects and dry the cylinder head parts completely before installing them back.
