About Ignition Igniters
The ignition igniter, also commonly known as the ignition module, is an engine management component found on many road going cars and trucks. It is an ignition system component that is responsible for providing the signal for the ignition coils to fire, so that the spark can be produced for cylinder combustion to occur.
A faulty ignition ignitor is characterized by the following symptoms. One of them is the misfiring of the engine which results in a decrease in acceleration, power, and fuel efficiency. Another sign is the indicator from the check engine light which shows that there is a problem with the ignition ignitor. A faulty ignitor is also characterized by a non-starting car. When all these problems are seen, the ignition should be checked and the faulty parts replaced.
