About Coolant Reservoir Tanks
The coolant reservoir tank is a reservoir that holds the coolant fluid responsible for regulating the engine's temperature.
The coolant resevoir tank should be replaced when any of the following cases are seen in an automobile. One is the overheating of the engine. This is seen on the dashboard gauge shown by the tempertaure gauge. The other reason is when the coolant leaks underneath the car. The tank should also be replaced when you notice the coolant level dropping regularly and a hissing sound or steam coming from the hood of the engine.
